June 2018 Re-Entry Month Celebrations

Sisters Returning Home celebrates the women in the program who have earn certifications in Hospitality Services. All ladies received personal care packages consisting of sox, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, sanitary products, toothbrush and paste, deodorant, wash cloths and bath towels. 


​April 2018 Women's Panel 

Sisters Returning Home hosted a panel to share the changes and challenges that impact the lives of women who have been involved in the criminal justice system. Major Clark was the key note speaker. Ms. Paulette Carrington, the first female juvenile lifer shared her experience returning back to the community after more than thirty years of life behind bars.

March 2018 Pardon & Expungement Clinic

Our annual help fair was held at Canaan Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Attendees were able to learn important information regarding the pardon and expungement process. The event was attended by a host of professionals who offered food banks resources, medical screenings, community legal service, and other community resources.
